Module I
Rooted Creation
Finding what is yours before you build anything else.
Where you begin
You have been creating — perhaps for years — but something feels borrowed. The sounds you reach for, the structures you default to, the identity you present as an artist. None of it feels fully yours.
There is a gap between who you are and what you make.
Where this leads
A reconnection to the rhythmic, emotional, and cultural foundations that are authentically yours. Not a new style — a deeper root.
You begin creating from what you actually carry, not what you have absorbed from the world around you.
What happens inside
Week 1
Unearthing
We begin by identifying what is borrowed. Listening to your own work with new ears. Mapping the influences that have shaped you — and finding what exists underneath them.
Week 2
Sitting With
A week of restraint. Creating less. Listening more. Allowing the silence between your habits to reveal what has been waiting underneath.
Week 3
First Movements
From the stillness, something begins to emerge. This week you create from the roots you have uncovered — slowly, without judgment, without reference.
Week 4
Integration
Bringing what you have found into your existing practice. Not replacing your tools — but grounding them in something real. The cohort witnesses each other's integration pieces.
